Employees have been previously notified that UTAS has signed agreements with Andrew Jones Travel and The Travel Studio for Travel Agency Services commencing 1 January 2012.

Travel Agent Booking (and Other) Fees:
UTAS has negotiated a schedule of fees with the travel agents. In return for crediting back to fares, any commission they would ordinarily receive from airlines (generally from 0% for domestic fares up to 6% for international fares), the agents will charge a single booking fee for up to five passengers on the same itinerary.

Existing Bookings with RACT Travelworld and STA Travel:
RACT Travelworld and STA Travel agreements terminate 31 December 2011, and arrangements have been put in place for existing bookings to be managed by them until travel has been completed. Should you need to contact either RACT or STA, their contact details are:

Serko Domestic Online Booking Tool
Staff members will have access to a domestic online booking tool with implementation expected early February. The booking tool will include all available fares, including negotiated discounted air fares, car hire and accommodation will be available for booking. Currently UTAS has negotiated discounts with Qantas, Emirates and Singapore airlines as well as Avis Car Hire and a number of local accommodation providers. Negotiations are underway for discounts with additional airlines, and these will be added to the booking tool should the negotiations be successful.
International SOS:
If you are travelling over the holiday period, please make use of the UTAS membership with international travel risk management company International SOS.
