Your feedback - and what we do about it

We know Library services are vital to your study, teaching and research and we encourage you to tell us what you think of what we do for you and how we go about it.

You can tell us what you think by:

  • using our online Ask us form
  • visiting one of our libraries - and talking to any of our friendly staff or using the suggestion box to give your feedback
  • contacting a liaison librarian in your Faculty or subject area - they can help with library services and information resources to support research, teaching and learning

The Library responds to your issues in a number of ways and if we cannot deal with them immediately we will attempt to address them in our strategic plan - 2009 (pdf), 2008 (pdf), 2007 (pdf), 2006 (pdf).

Surveys

From time to time the Library, and the University, use surveys to gather feedback on the services we provide. These surveys are your chance to formally tell us what you think of our resources, our services, how we communicate with you and what you think we could do better.

University surveys and their results can be found here.

Library Client Satisfaction Survey ('Rodski survey")

This survey gives us information about what is important to Library clients and how well the Library is performing. It also helps us identify areas we need to improve and actions we need to take. We can also compare our results against those of previous years, and against other university libraries that use the same survey.
