EPACRIDACEAE Dracophyllum minimum

Dracophyllum minimum

Distinguishing Features: Hard cushion plant, vegetatively similar to Donatia novae-zealandieae and Abrotanella forsteroides, but without the hairpoint on the leaf tip or hairy leaf axils. The cushions tend to be reddish-green in colour (cf the true green of the other species). It has epacrid type flowers (tubular with stamens attached to the petals) and radially symmetrical capsules with five locules.
