| Distinguishing features: "Mint bush". A common shrub of wet forest. The leaves are green on both surfaces, soft and slightly thick or fleshy, opposite, ovate, with acute/acuminate apices. The veins are impressed on the upper surface. They smell minty when crushed. Spectacular when in flower. |
