| Distinguishing features: "Smooth top stringy bark". A high altitude relative of E. obliqua. Big tree, with rough fibrous bark up to the main branches, smooth bark on the branches. Adult leaves long and broad, with an uneven base, but the easiest way to identify it is by the glaucous almost circular juvenile leaves as seen in the seedling above. | ||||
