Distinguishing features:Small tree of very dry areas, usually on mudstone. Smooth grey/cream bark. Adult leaves are silver, 5 - 16 cm x 1 - 4 cm (broader than E. pulchella), contrasting strongly with the glaucous pairs of juvenile leaves fused across the stem. Buds and capsules and twigs are usually coated with a thick glaucous wax. |
