Distinguishing features: "Mountain Pepper". A common alpine and sub-alpine shrub, or small tree of wet sclerophyll or rainforests. Entire margined, hairless, alternate leaves sticking straight out, often reddish at least on the edges, reddish stems, little reddish black fruit.
