Dr Michael Roach has been pioneering the development of innovative, immersive visualisation methods for field geology. His work utilises automated terrestrial photogrammetry, UAV photogrammetry, gigapixel imagery and full spherical panoramas to bring field localities back into the classroom.
Scholarships are available ot top-ranked PhD candidates undertaking projects in line with research strengths of the School of Earth Sciences.
