Honours is a 1 year full-time course that adds a significant dimension to your undergraduate degree. Some students continue on to Honours in order to ‘value-add' their degree and increase their employment options; others do it in order to make them eligible for entry to a higher degree (Masters or PhD).
We offer four-year Honours courses in Economic Geology, Geophysics and Geochemistry that are recognised by the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM). Our Honoursgraduates are highly regarded by the minerals and exploration sector. Geophysics Honours graduates are in strong demand from all industry areas.
