Eriko joined the School of Economics and Finance at the University of Tasmania in 2010. She obtained a PhD in fisheries economics from Imperial College London, UK in 2010 and a master's degree in environmental management from Duke University, USA, in 2002. She has worked as a fisheries consultant at the World Bank, Washington DC, MRAG Ltd, London, and the World Resource Institute, Washington DC.
