Orientation marks the beginning of your university studies and is designed to help you settle into life at university.

Orientation Week will provide you with information to fully prepare you for the start of semester, in addition to familiarising you with the services and facilities available on each campus.

Orientation will help you to find your way around campus, introduce you to your studies and put you in touch with the staff in your area of study. It is also a great opportunity to meet the other students that you will be studying with. Orientation is about becoming familiar with your surroundings and knowing where to go for assistance should you need it.

The UTAS Faculty of Education will be holding orientation days at four venues on the following dates:

• Melbourne - Saturday 6 July, Cliftons, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne.
• Hobart - Tuesday 9 July, Sandy Bay campus
  
• Launceston - Thursday 11 July, Newnham campus, Launceston
  
• Burnie - Friday 12 July, Cradle Coast campus
  

 Things you should know:

• Students should register their intention to attend Orientation Day by way of an online registration form
• International students will have the International Orientation session as well as the Faculty session to attend.
  
• For online and distance students, an online orientation is available.
