Career summary
After completing her Bachelors Degree in English Literature in China, Frances moved to Australia to study in the Master of Teaching program in the Faculty of Education, University of Tasmania.
She then moved to Sydney to teach as an early childhood teacher. She worked with young children for one and a half years before she came back to the University of Tasmania to do her PhD degree. She completed her PhD study in the Faculty of Education in 2011, and became a lecturer in the Faculty.
Frances is now teaching a number of units in the Bachelor of Education course (Early Childhood). She maintains broad research interests, particularly in the areas of web-based learning, educational technologies, early childhood education, and ESL education.
