The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Ian Hay announced that he was very pleased that in the Faculty’s core area of responsibility of Curriculum and Pedagogy the Faculty had achieved well above the national, Australian standards.
The 2011 national analysis of Australian university research, reported that the Faculty of Education at the University of Tasmania had achieved a rating of world standard for its research in Curriculum and Pedagogy.
Professor Ian Hay also reported that across all Excellence in Research for Australia research benchmarks the Faculty had achieved at or above the national research standards.
Professor Ian Hay said that the Faculty valued research and continued to be a research-led Faculty.
