ACHPER comes to the University

The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) Tasmania conference was held at the University on Friday.  The conference highlighted the positive impacts that physical activity has on mental health and education results.  Incoming president of ACHPER, Dr Vaughan Cruickshank said:

Having a strong physical education course in the school curriculum has a “flow on effect” on literacy and numeracy results and school results in general.
