A new teaching qualification for Polytechnic teachers was launched today under a joint partnership between the Tasmanian Polytechnic and the University of Tasmania (UTAS).
The proposed tertiary qualification, which will be delivered by UTAS, will recognise and build upon the teaching and industry experience teachers often bring to their role in the delivery of Vocational Education and Training (VET).
