The dates of Professional Experience can only be changed in exceptional circumstances (e.g. on medical grounds or significant life events). 

Exceptional circumstances will need to be substantiated with a range of documentation and consultation processes.  In the first instance the pre-service teacher needs to complete a Variation Request to undertake the placement at an alternative time and return this to the Professional Experience Office.

Requests will be considered by the Professional Experience Task Group who meets monthly. The final decision will rest with the Director of Professional Experience who will approve or decline the pre-service teacher's request.
