 Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) pre-service teachers are required to undertake Early Years Placement 1 (EYP1), which is the first of two early years practicums. From 2013 this placement is taken in conjunction with Professional Experience 2.

Module Information

To help guide and support pre-service teachers during their EYP1, an on-line module of work consisting of readings and activities is available on line.It is expected that students will work through the readings and activities related to the module, and contribute to online discussions.  This module must be completed by the end of their 20 day placement.

On-line participation will be carefully monitored by a UTAS Mentor.  The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) underpins the module areas, which include 7 sections as follows:
