Career summary
Worked in several maximum and medium security prisons in Australia, USA and New Zealand delivering various life and adult education and vocational education programs. Reviewed efficacy of offender support and development program against recidivism and KPIs. Also worked in Educational Psychology - School/Education context in the area of special education, high-risk adolescent aggressive behaviours, gangs, bullying, motivation, school violence, mental health, psycho-pharmacology, psychopathology and deviancy. Worked as a registered school teacher and guidance officer, educational psychologist, forensic psychologist, criminologist and is a developmental specialist in adolescent mental health and psychological disorders.
In addition, developed several individualized alternative education programs, alternative post-secondary pathways, behaviour support plans, risk management schedules and therapeutic support programs for school students and inmates with complex psychiatric behaviors to non-compliance like symptomologies and behaviours. Undertaken a policy and systems review of re-visioning of school culture and to address: School Violence, At-Risk, Students, Gang Culture and Behaviour Management - against best practise evidence-based models
Consultancy
- Review and audit performance of service providers (e.g. Drug Rehabilitative Facilities, Prison Units & Schools) against: Quality Assurance, Program efficacy, Policy Mandates, KPIs and Cost.
- Undertake a policy and systems review of re-visioning of school culture and to address: School Violence, At-Risk, Students, Gang Culture and Behaviour Management - against best practise evidence-based models. To develop and implement a best practice operational framework to support staff, students, school and community.
