Achievements
Robyn has taught Mathematics and Science at secondary schools and at TAFE. She also taught statistics at the University of Tasmania for 13 years. Before she turned to teaching, Robyn worked in pathology laboratories specialising in Haematology. Robyn is now a lecturer in Mathematics Education at the University of Tasmania and was joint recipient of a Federal Government award for Teaching Excellence from the Office for Learning and Teaching. Robyn’s research interests include students’ understanding of probability and statistics, and the role of Teachers’ Assistants in the teaching of mathematics.
