Bachelor of Education (Primary)

I began to look at careers in Grade 12 but at that time I was specifically focused on sport so I began my degree in Education as a HPE specialisation. I then altered my degree at the beginning of second year.

To help make my choice as to what I wanted to study I looked at subjects for university that I thought I would enjoy. I am glad that I did this as I am having a lot of fun completing my degree.

I have found that I am already feeling confident on Professional Experience in taking a class through lessons this is due to study and the practise at UTAS.

Previously I have studied on campus but I am currently completing my semester by distance as I am going on exchange to Sweden.

Some of my highlights at UTAS are the amazing friends I have made, with whom I have shared some wonderful, extremely funny moments in lectures and tutorials. I have also enjoyed the friendships I have made with my lecturers and tutors from which I have learnt so much from.

My advice to future students would be to select a subject you are passionate about and if you apply yourself you will receive wonderful benefits.

The staff at UTAS are always so welcoming and whenever I have had a question or have been confused they have been able to help me any way they can. I would have been so lost without them so do not be afraid to ask for help.
