Pre-service teachers are required to undertake Professional Experience placements for a number of weeks per year, full-time, unpaid.
These placements are predominantly in Tasmanian education settings however interstate placements are also available upon request.
Volunteering in an educational setting or classroom is also highly recommended for all pre-service teachers, regardless of study mode or pattern of attendance.
