Why did you decide to do honours?
This decision took me a very long time to make. I was first approached by one of my favourite lecturers who encouraged me to challenge myself and to take the plunge. After many ‘pros and cons’ lists, I decided that it would be a worthwhile experience and something very different.
Why did you choose UTAS?
Cradle Coast Campus was close to home and I was able to study there without having to move away.
Highlights of your honours study/experience so far?
I really enjoyed developing the instruments for my project, conducting the research and collecting the data. Each stage of the honours process posed interesting and new challenges.
Any advice for future honours students?
When you find articles online save them as the APA reference! Make it so much easier for later! Take one thing at a time and enjoy the last minute pressure!
