Australian Engineering Week (6-12 August) aims to raise awareness in the community of the roles and value of engineers.
Engineers Australia have an exciting range of events scheduled across Tasmania that are open to the public, including cocktail parties, heritage tours, photo displays, quiz nights, and presentations by the Australian Professional Engineer of the Year, Dr Jane Sargison FIEAust.
They also have brochures and TV ads being delivered to the public and new web pages being launched, all of which help the public to understand and access information about engineering.
