She has supervised dissertations and theses at Hons and PhD levels on various topics including: Erich Fried, Elias Canetti, Goethe, Wolfgang Borchert, Elfriede Jelinek, E.T.A. Hoffmann and Gottfried von Straßburg
She is available to supervise on topics in German literature.

Eva teaches in the German program, and has particular interests in the fields of Twentieth Century Austrian Literature. Eva is a past President of the Modern Language Teachers’ Association of Tasmania. She is currently a member of IG (Internationale Germanisten), GSAA (German Studies of Australia Association, AULLA (Australasian Universities language and Literature Association), Netzwerk Süd as well as the Tasmanian Historical Research Association. She is Honorary Consul of Austria in Tasmania.
