New Literatures Review
From 1 November 2012 New Literatures Review will merge with Transnational Literature, which is edited by Gillian Dooley at Flinders University, Australia.
A significant benefit of merging the journals is that back issues of New Literatures Review will be digitized, considerably enhancing the visibility and ongoing ability to cite articles from New Literatures Review.
Forty-eight issues of New Literatures Review were published over a thirty-five-year period from 1977 to 2012. Numerous people edited or guest edited the journal over those years, and many more served on the editorial collectives and advisory boards. The driving forces behind the journal over very many years, however, were Bill Ashcroft (University of New South Wales) and Paul Sharrad (University of Wollongong).
We hope you will support the new amalgamated journal, Transnational Literature, which is a freely accessible, fully refereed international e-journal, published twice a year by the Flinders Institute for Research in the Humanities.
