Tuition Fees

Students studying English language courses in Hobart require a course book, which can be bought on arrival for an approximate cost of $65. The number of books required will depend on total course length and rate of progress. Launceston students will not be required to purchase this book until further notice.

Students studying a Direct Entry Academic Program in Hobart and Launceston should allow up to $150 for workbook and texts for the complete 20-week course.

* DEAP only available in 10, 15 or 20 week blocks
** In addition to course tuition fees, all students studying at the English Language Centre are required to pay a non-refundable administration fee.

Medical and travel insurance

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is compulsory for all international students on a student visa. The University can make arrangements for the insurance when you pay your tuition fees.

Students will be responsible for their own individual travel insurance.
