UTAS Email account username and password
If you accepted your offer online, your UTAS Email account username and password was created and available for viewing in eApplication immediately. Once enrolments open for the new year, you should allow up to 3 working days from when you accepted your offer for your username and password to be activated.
If you applied and accepted by paper form your username and password will be sent to you by post and to your personal email address if you included it on your application form.
You will need these login details to access a number of vital functions on the University website, including:
- webmail
- eStudentCentre, to manage your enrolment, to check your invoices, to check your exam timetable and results
- MyLO for your online learning material
Now you have two usernames and passwords... and that can be confusing!
You will still use the Applicant account to access your eApplication portal, eg if you are checking other offers or making a Scholarship application or applying for another course.
An easy way to remember which is which - your Applicant account is the one you created yourself; your UTAS Email account is the one UTAS provided to you.
Webmail
Most of our communication with you will be via your UTAS webmail account. You will be able to login easily wherever you have internet access. The University requires you to use your UTAS account when emailing staff. This helps us to verify your identity. This is especially important if you are making enquiries about you enrolment, academic progress, or disclosing information that may be sensitive or confidential. It is important to check your webmail regularly.
