Events & Protocol
UTAS presents a wide range of public events including formal lectures, exhibitions, seminars and concerts, many of them in collaboration with other organisations.
The Unit is responsible for the development, coordination and promotion of high-profile events that will increase the University’s social, cultural and strategic engagement with business, industry, government and the community.

The Unit is also responsible for the UTAS Events website and the listing of events on the University's website.
The Unit is responsible for advice and policy on protocol governing University activities, events and interaction with government and the community.
The unit oversees cultural activities funding for outreach programs.
The first point of contact with the University for members of the public is usually through the University switchboard. The UTAS switchboard operators are part of the Unit, ensuring that the first point of contact will be a friendly and positive contribution to the UTAS brand.
