The Unit is responsible for the development and management of high profile events that will increase the University’s social, cultural and strategic engagement with business, industry, government and the community. The events include graduations, dinners and award ceremonies, public lectures, and other activities including launches, openings, concerts and exhibitions.
The Unit develops and manages events in its own right and partners with other arms of the University and with external organisations in fulfilment of its goals. Advice and support is willingly provided to those managing their own events.
