ASEAN countries in South East Asia make up some of our closest neighbours and are growing markets for Australian products.  More than 12,000 Australian businesses already export to ASEAN countries making the region our third largest trading partner - a trading relationship of $93 billion.

Under existing and forthcoming Free Trade agreements (AANZFTA, SAFTA and IA-CEPA) there is increasing commitment between Australia and ASEAN countries to expand and diversify our shared economic partnership across goods, services and investment.

Come to the Forum to hear about how ASEAN fits into the rest of the Indo-Pacific and the opportunities that exist to grow two-way trade and investment. Presenters include ASEAN diplomats, business leaders, senior government officials and academia. The morning sessions look at big picture ASEAN opportunities, with the afternoon focusing on Indonesia.
