Welcome to our new monthly documentary series, Docos & Drinks
In this first series, we will commemorate the big anniversaries of 2019
First up, 1519 – 500 years since the death of Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci.
Join a panel of University experts for a viewing and discussion of Seventh Art Productions’ Exhibition on Screen – Leonardo.
Given exclusive opening night access to the largest ever collection of Leonardo’s surviving paintings at London’s National Gallery, art historian Tim Marlow provides a fascinating insight into these masterpieces and their creator.
Hosted by School of Creative Arts (SoCA) Gallery Director Dr Malcom Bywaters with a panel including Dr Elizabeth Freeman (Senior Lecturer, Medieval European History), Dr Toby Juliff (Lecturer, SoCA) and Dr Yvette Watt (Head of Studio, Painting, SoCA).
Grab a complementary drink from 5.30pm and settle in for the first of our anniversary docos.
Next up, 1919…
