Areas of Responsibility
- Review of all grant contracts (and variations) to ensure all financial obligations are recorded and met when due;
- Open projects within the finance system;
- Raise project budget and infrastructure charges when applicable;
- Raise invoices to funding bodies in accordance with the contract;
- Preparation of special purpose financial reports for funding bodies;
- Provision of support and advice to researchers, research officers and other staff regarding the financial aspect of grants;
- Prepare for and liaise with external auditors;
- Close projects within the finance system once the contract has been completed.
