This five day pre-semester face-to-face program aims to improve tertiary literacy and begins to develop essential skills required for independent learning and success at university, such as essay writing, academic reading and critical thinking. The program is supported by online resources and is also available fully online.

Enabling Programs

UTAS offers a wide range of Enabling Programs to assist commencing students with their study.  Programs include the University Preparation Program, Thinking & Writing at University and Foundation Units. These programs equip commencing students with valuable skills needed to succeed at university and Foundation Units are suitable for people who do not have the necessary prerequisite subjects to embark on their chosen degree.
