You have a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity to be part of building one of the Southern Hemisphere’s top medical research centres.
In 2010, Menzies officially opened a new $58 million world-class medical research and clinical facility, known as the Menzies Research Institute Tasmania. After four years of sustained planning, development and fundraising the next stage is underway. At an estimated cost of $90 million, the Stage II facility will enable us to further expand our highly innovative research program, make more discoveries, and intensify the pace of turning our discoveries into better treatments and health practices for the community.
In 2013 our priority is to realise the Challenge Grant. Our target is $5 million and thanks to our generous supporters we have received donations and pledges totalling $3.7 million. Now our final challenge is to raise $1.3 million, which will complete our $90 million capital campaign
Will you consider making a donation today? A gift, large or small, makes you an investor in Tasmania’s future - your future, and the future of all those who will come after you. A range of naming rights are available, including laboratory and research spaces, public spaces, and much more.
Now is the time!
There is a real opportunity for us to improve and save the lives of many people across the globe. Now is the time to double our efforts and confront this problem as a matter of urgency.
