My main research interest is forest ecology and management. I completed my PhD on tree hollows in the School of Geography and Environmental Studies, and I now work for the Forest Practices Authority as a research biologist. In my current role I help develop and improve prescriptions for managing biodiversity in forestry areas, and I do research and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of the Tasmanian forest practices system.
