Published work of Geography researchers has featured prominently in the latest climate assessment from the high profile International Panel for Climate Change (IPCC). More than ten papers from the school are featured within the final draft report of IPCC Working Group I seeking to establish the physical science basis of climate change. In particular, researchers were cited for their world-leading research into changes in sea level and the ice sheets. Further chapters and the final report will be published in its final form in 2014.
