International Strategy 2016-2020

The University of Tasmania International Strategy 2016-2020 (PDF 785KB) was approved by Council on 1st August 2016.

The University of Tasmania’s International Strategy supports a broad differentiation competitive strategy, targeting countries within the Pacific Rim, focusing on China, India, ASEAN countries, the Middle East and Latin America.

The objectives of this strategy are aimed at achieving a unique customer value proposition – providing world-class teaching and research focused student experiences within the pristine Tasmanian environment.
