MJ Rees Prize for First Year Information Systems (Rule 42)
A sum was donated to the University to establish a prize in information technology. The Council of the University accepted that sum and agreed to establish a prize. The terms of the prize are set out in these rules.
Rules
- The sum, together with any interest from time to time, forms the endowment of a prize to be called the MJ Rees Prize for 1st year Information Systems.
- The prize will be awarded to the student with the best performance in the units Information Modelling and Business Information Systems.
- The prize will be withheld if the best student does not achieve a High Distinction grade.
- The Scholarships Management Committee will determine the annual value of the prize from time to time, having regard to the income from the endowment.
- Any earlier rules for this prize are revoked.
