MJ Rees Prize for First Year Information Systems (Rule 42)

 

A sum was donated to the University to establish a prize in information technology. The Council of the University accepted that sum and agreed to establish a prize. The terms of the prize are set out in these rules.

Rules
  1. The sum, together with any interest from time to time, forms the endowment of a prize to be called the MJ Rees Prize for 1st year Information Systems.
  2. The prize will be awarded to the student with the best performance in the units Information Modelling and Business Information Systems.
  3. The prize will be withheld if the best student does not achieve a High Distinction grade.
  4. The Scholarships Management Committee will determine the annual value of the prize from time to time, having regard to the income from the endowment.
  5. Any earlier rules for this prize are revoked.
