RT Allwright Memorial Prize (Rule 13)
The family of the late Richard T Allwright has donated $4,000 to the University to honour the memory of Richard Allwright. The family has asked that the gift be used to endow a prize in his honour, and has asked that the prize be awarded to a student studying in a subject reflecting Richard Allwright’s interest in the production of high quality livestock. The Council of the University has agreed to the foundation of a prize in the terms declared in these Rules.
Rules
- The amount of $4,000, together with any interest from time to time, forms the endowment of a prize to be called the RT Allwright Memorial Prize.
- The prize shall be awarded annually to the student obtaining the best result in the unit Animal Production offered by the School of Agricultural Science.
- The annual value of the prize is $200, or any other value determined by Council from time to time, having regard to the income from the endowment.
