RT Allwright Memorial Prize (Rule 13)

 

The family of the late Richard T Allwright has donated $4,000 to the University to honour the memory of Richard Allwright. The family has asked that the gift be used to endow a prize in his honour, and has asked that the prize be awarded to a student studying in a subject reflecting Richard Allwright’s interest in the production of high quality livestock. The Council of the University has agreed to the foundation of a prize in the terms declared in these Rules.

Rules
  1. The amount of $4,000, together with any interest from time to time, forms the endowment of a prize to be called the RT Allwright Memorial Prize.
  2. The prize shall be awarded annually to the student obtaining the best result in the unit Animal Production offered by the School of Agricultural Science.
  3. The annual value of the prize is $200, or any other value determined by Council from time to time, having regard to the income from the endowment.
