Terry Woodward Memorial Prize (Rule 12)
The Australian Society for Education through the Arts (ASEA) has donated $6,000 to the University. The Society has asked that the gift be used to endow a prize in honour of Terry Woodward, and that the prize be awarded in Arts Education. The Council of the University has agreed to the foundation of a prize in the terms declared in these Rules.
Rules
- The amount of $6,000, together with any interest from time to time, forms the endowment of a prize to be called the Terry Woodward Memorial Prize.
- The prize shall be awarded annually to the third year student at the Launceston campus with outstanding results in Arts Education, as determined by a committee comprising members of the Society and nominated staff from the School of Education.
- The annual value of the prize shall be determined by Council from time to time, having regard to the income from the endowment.
