The Academic Senate of the University has agreed to the foundation of endowed scholarships in the terms declared in these rules.

Rules
  1. An amount of $300,000 provided by the past Student Association, the Tasmania University Union and Vice-Chancellor of the University, together with other money contributed from time to time, forms the endowment of scholarships to be called the "Tasmania University Sports Scholarships".

  4. The selection committee will set the detailed selection and performance criteria having regard to the intention of the endowment. The selection committee will advise applicants of these selection and performance criteria through the application process.
