What is general misconduct?

Definition of general misconduct

General misconduct includes behaviour such as:

  • failing to comply with a reasonable request by a staff member of the University
  • harassing or discriminating against someone on University premises
  • disruptive behaviour in University classes or activities
  • misusing University facilities or equipment
  • breaching University rules and by-laws
  • breaching IT and library facilities use agreements
  • improper use of facilities and resources
  • damaging or removing property
