The University Secretary's Office facilitates the major decision-making processes of the University. These are the processes through which the University determines its strategic directions and its future shape and activities.

The University Secretary's Office provides an advisory, consultative, secretarial and executive service to: the Chancellor; the University Council and its Committees; the Vice-Chancellor and other major decision-making bodies within the University. The University Secretary's Office monitors governance structures and process and recommends and implements improvements in them.
