The honours program provides a more advanced understanding of the current theories and practices of the Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations and Police Studies disciplines. The honours year consists of specialised units and a thesis and introduces students to the skills involved in independent research. Further, the honours program also provides a stepping stone to Masters of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosopy (PhD) degrees as well as providing an additional qualification.
