"My MBA studies helped me move into the economic development area, and then onto my current position as a Senior Adviser to the Premier. Building on my background in public health, the MBA has helped to take my career in a new direction, consolidating my work experience and giving me the confidence in my new role.

The face-to-face workshops allowed for interaction with lecturers, and to network with other students. The structure of the course allowed me to take semesters off here and there to accommodate work, travel and house renovations.

Alison currently works as a Senior Adviser, to the Premier of Tasmania, in the area of Economic Policy. Alison graduated from the MBA program in 2006.
