International Business

Graduate Certificate, Master and Master Specialisation

These courses offer participants the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to practise as a manager in a global context. Emphasis is placed on the determination and assessment of 'best practice' approaches to management, informed by the application of appropriate and sound theoretical foundations drawn from a variety of interdisciplinary sources. The program as a whole is designed to enhance participants' professional skills, provide opportunities for their career pathways, and to be relevant to their professional needs.

Classes will be conducted in an interactive manner with case studies from both local and international firms forming the basis of student discussions and assessment.

Upon the successful completion of the course, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge that lead to more senior managerial, policy and strategic management levels, and research positions.

To assist students with further information about units, the School of Management have their Unit Outlines available, which give details (for past units) of structure, readings and assignment requirements.
