Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching
Location - Hobart, Launceston and Burnie. All three locations will be available, subject to demand.

Intake - February and July
Duration - Minimum 2 years (4 sem) (part-time)
The objective of this course is to improve the standard of university learning and teaching in a number of ways, such as developing knowledge and skills in the area of teaching as well as gaining practical skills in teaching, as it applies to higher education.
The Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching has been developed based on the latest research, including surveys of current practice in universities, the views of stakeholders and academic staff, and current developments in university teaching, both in Australia and overseas. It has been developed with the requirements of national and international bodies in mind and in consultation with national
professional
organisations.
The program is comprised of two core units, and two electives. The delivery of the program is via a flexibly structured approach.

All applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. In addition, currently engaged in some form of undergraduate or postgraduate teaching activity.
