The Compass Group provides academic dress hire to all graduands and staff members with the exception of the Australian Maritime College. Academic dress hire for AMC graduands is available through the AMC. Details are on the AMC website. The Compass Group will know your award and will supply you with the correct colours. The Compass Group staff will be present at the ceremony venue to help you with your academic dress.

Professional photographers will be in attendance at each ceremony to capture your special day. Services available include studio portraits and on-stage presentation photos. For more information see Graduation Photography Services (PDF 545KB)
Tasmanian ceremonies: Professional framers will be in attendance at each ceremony. Frames can be selected and certificates framed on the day.
Graduation memorabilia is available for sale at each ceremony. Items include coffee mugs, graduation bears, beer and wine glasses, ties, spoons, fashion accessories and flowers.
A professional video recording of the entire graduation will be made at most ceremonies. It will include scenes from the University campus, the entrance procession, welcoming speeches and a close-up of the Chancellor greeting each graduate. The DVD will be replayed immediately after the ceremony and you may purchase copies from the agents on site or order in advance. A personalised plaque of your certificate (testamur) is available for purchase after your ceremony. See samples on display at the Ambassador Production desk at each ceremony or view samples and download order form (PDF 643.9KB).

A photocopy service is available at each ceremony. You can have your certificate (testamur) colour-copied on the spot by a Commissioner for Declarations before you frame it. It is useful to have such copies for applying for jobs in countries other than Australia.
Note, this service is not available for the Sydney ceremony.
Graduations services are privately contracted by the University and are not part of the Student Centre function.
