The Events & Protocol Office does not provide academic dress for staff members. Staff members wishing to participate in a graduation ceremony should provide their own academic dress.
Academic Dress can be purchased through the University Shop on the Sandy Bay campus, or direct from the supplier, Raymond W. Bredin & Sons Pty Ltd in Melbourne.
Academic Dress can be hired from the University Shop, Sandy Bay. For further information please contact Patsy Makarewicz by email: Union.Shop@utas.edu.au or phone: 03 6226 2857. Bookings for academic dress should be made two weeks prior to a graduation ceremony.
For Burnie and Launceston ceremonies - please complete a staff hire form (PDF 108.7KB) and return to Uni Shop Launceston no later than Thursday 6 December.
For Hobart ceremonies - please complete a staff hire form (PDF 29.7KB) and return to the Uni Shop Hobart no later than Thursday 13 December.
