Convergent journalism brings together a range of media formats to better inform and engage audiences in online journalistic story telling. This unit engages students at an advanced level with the theories and practices of convergent journalism. Students will apply at least three different media formats to produce journalism suitable for online publication. These may include audio, print, and still and moving image formats. While not a prerequisite, previous study in online, television or radio journalism will be an advantage.
